Included Amenities
- Your Concordia Ballroom rental includes the use of up to 120 chairs and 20 tables.
- Your L’Engle Hall rental includes the use of up to 90 chairs and 15 tables.
- Additional chairs are available for $4 each, and additional tables for $10 each.
- The use of our warm and prep kitchen.
Additional Amenities
- Outdoor Space Rental: Reserved outdoor space for activities such as outdoor seating or food trucks is available for an additional fee of $500.
- Audio/Visual Equipment: Access to our A/V equipment is available for an additional fee of $350.
- Steinway Concert Grand Pianos: The use of our Steinway Concert Grand Pianos can be added to your rental for $300.
Front Office and Changing Area: The front office or upstairs changing room can be added to your rental for $100 per room.
Renter Responsibilities
To keep the venue in excellent condition for all events, we ask that you:
- Leave the venue as you found it. Please do not move, fold, or stack the tables and chairs.
- Ensure all guests and vendors have vacated the venue by the end of the rental period.
- Remove all decorations, linens, and personal items from the premises.
- Dispose of all liquids in sinks before placing items in the garbage.
- Bag all garbage in provided heavy-duty bags and place them in the dumpster.
- Clean the kitchen area:
- Wipe down counters and surfaces.
- Remove all food and beverages.
- Sweep and mop the floors.
Food, Beverage, and Alcohol
- Event liability insurance is required for all events serving alcohol.
- Beer kegs are not permitted inside the buildings.
- Coolers must be placed on absorbent mats to protect floors.
- Food and beverages are not permitted in the lobby, upstairs areas, stage, or backstage.
- The kitchen is for prep and reheat only. Frying foods on-site is prohibited.
Decorations
Not permitted:
- Aisle runners (slipping hazard).
- Floor wraps or decals.
- Nails, tacks, staples, tape, Command Strips, or adhesives on any surfaces.
- Confetti, glitter, birdseed, rice, loose sequins, or rhinestones.
- Fog machines or fireworks of any kind including cold sparklers.
Permitted:
- Bubbles or glow sticks.
- Real flower petals (outdoors) or silk petals (indoors).
- Enclosed candles in approved glass vessels (votives, tealights, floating candles, hurricane globes, etc.). No open flames.
Banners or signs must be free standing.
Auditorium and Stage Rules
Pianos may not be played unless rented in advance, and nothing may be placed on them.
No candles, food, beverages, or guest seating are allowed on the stage.
Venue Policies
Friday Musicale is a smoke-free venue: smoking and vaping are prohibited on Friday Musicale property.
Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
Children must be under adult supervision at all times.
Soliciting is not allowed on the premises.
Parking: Use designated areas and follow posted street signs.
Refunds and Rescheduling
Your initial $500 deposit is refundable within 48 hours, minus a $30 processing fee.
Venue rental payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in your contract.
Reschedule Policy:
One reschedule is allowed with written notice at least 60 days before your event date. The new date must fall within 12 months of the original date and be mutually agreed upon.
If rescheduling a second time, the original deposit becomes non-refundable, and a new deposit will be required to secure a new date. Rental payments will be credited toward the future booking.
Damage to the Venue
The renter is responsible for all damage caused during the event and any associated repair costs. A credit card authorization form must be on file and may be used for payments or damages as necessary.
