Daniel founded The Shed Jazz Club in 2014 (shedjazz.com) where he worked to support the local music community by providing a vibrant space for music performance and education. Continuing his work as Production Manager of The ArtsCenter (https://artscenterlive.org/) gave him the opportunity to produce shows with John Scofield, Bill Frisell, Lee Konitz, Sona Jobarteh, and a range of other leading artists. Besides working to promote music in the community through events at Friday Musicale, he enjoys performing locally as a saxophonist. He lives in Riverside with his wife Jessica (noted poet and UNF instructor) and 6-year-old son, Adrian.

Aimee Low, also known as Aimee Ortiz is an accomplished writer and independent filmmaker with a rich background in theatre. As the former Director of the Riverside Children’s Arts Center, she championed arts education and fostered a love for creativity in young minds. Aimee brings her diverse artistic expertise to every project she undertakes. She is thrilled to share her passion and skills at Friday Musicale.
