Florida Brass Quintet “Trumpet Players We’ve Known and Loved!” 

The Florida Brass Quintet will take a walk down “memory lane,” revisiting many of the great songs featuring trumpeters down through the years. Dr. Bill Prince has brought many of the great big band and jazz solo works to the brass quintet format with great success and musicality. The FBQ will feature a wide variety of artists such as Chuck Mangione (Feels So Good), Herb Alpert (A Taste of Honey) and Miles Davis (So What). We’ll also hear from some classical players like Maurice Andre (Masterpiece Theatre Theme). This is going to be educational as well as fun as we listen to Dr. Prince talk about these great artists and how their styles compared and developed over the years.
