An intimate music room for close-up listening, opening January 2027 in historic L'Engle Hall — eighty-odd seats, a great piano, and nothing between you and the performance.
The room
The Blue Room at Friday Musicale is a different kind of space from the Concert Hall — smaller, closer, made for the music that thrives when the audience is near. Seating 85 to 90, the Blue Room puts you within arm’s reach of the players. It opens in January 2027 in L’Engle Hall, one of the historic buildings on the Friday Musicale campus. Select preview nights open the room ahead of the official January 2027 launch.
The programming
The Blue Room is built for intimacy — jazz, songwriters, chamber sets, and late-evening programs that reward a listening audience. It carries its own identity as a venue while remaining, always, part of Friday Musicale.
