Join Our Board
Friday Musicale is seeking new members for its Board of Directors as we enter our 136th season.
Since 1890, Friday Musicale has brought live music to Jacksonville — first in members’ parlors, and for nearly a century from our historic three-building campus on Oak Street in Riverside. Today we present a full season of concerts, host student recitals and community events, and are investing in the next chapter of our campus and programs.
We are recruiting a class of board members to help lead that next chapter. We’re especially seeking candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Finance & Treasury
Nonprofit financial oversight, budgeting, and stewardship of the organization’s resources.
Development & Corporate Relations
Fundraising, sponsorship, and building relationships with Jacksonville’s business and philanthropic communities.
Capital & Campus
Construction, real estate, historic preservation, or facilities planning, as we improve and activate our 645 Oak Street campus.
Board members serve as active partners in Friday Musicale’s growth: attending concerts and board meetings and opening doors within their networks. A full prospectus with expectations and term details is available on request.
