Critically-acclaimed saxophonist and bandleader Adam Larson brings a special version of his band to Friday Musicale for an intimate 90 minute set on Friday, March 14th at 7pm. Spending time at UNF, JU, The John Lumpkin Institute and The Episcopal School of Jacksonville as a guest art artist over the last few years, Larson is no stranger to the great scene of musicians that Jacksonville has to offer. For this outing, Larson will feature a band that includes pianist Joshua Bowlus, bassist Dennis Marks and drummer John Lumpkin. Larson will present his genre-blending original compositions from his 10 albums as a leader as well as some yet to be recorded songs that touch the corners of R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock and Jazz. With a visit to JAX only once a year, this evenings’ concert is a must-see event.
